Would you like to have your say regarding the proposed placement of new CCTV cameras in Monaghan Town? If so, come along to the public consultation meeting which is being held in the Market House on Wednesday the 17th of January from 7:30PM- 9PM. The Community Safety Partnership are proposing that CCTV cameras are installed in a variety of locations in Monaghan Town to help reduce anti social behaviour and increase safety for all citizens.

There will be strict rules in place to protect citizens privacy. The project will act as a community CCTV scheme which will be monitored via a live feed in the Garda Station which will help to prevent anti social behaviour and improve response time to any incidents in and around the town.
